**All children must be two by December 31st of the year that they will enter the school.

This is an exciting time of independence and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment. Our emphasis in this classroom is on social and emotional development. The teachers lead the children through age appropriate activities to improve coordination and increase verbal and problem solving skills. Children are naturally curious and motivated to learn. We provide them with the materials and experiences to help them understand and communicate in ways most meaningful to them.

**Snack and lunch is provided by the parents. We are a nut aware program and ask that you read all labels to ensure food is safe. Parents will be provided with a list of healthy and safe foods that can be sent to school. We ask that each family discusses any food allergies with their child's teacher to ensure proper procedures are followed. We will notify families of any other allergies that might impact the selection of food brought into the school. Teachers will check all labels at each meal.
